Charming hilltop towns, acres of lemon groves and vineyards, mile after mile of stunning cliffs kissed by cobalt-blue waters… its official name is the Amalfi Coast, but this magical land answers to "heaven." On this trip, you’ll live like one of the region’s (incredibly lucky) locals, discovering the small towns, mountain trails, and local customs of this uniquely beautiful place. Explore the ruins of Pompeii in the morning, hike the coastline of the Mediterranean by afternoon, and tuck into bed at your converted 17th-century monastery home base at sundown. It's paradise, found.

From Naples to the seaside villages of the Amalfi Coast, this journey blends history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes. Begin with time to explore Naples, where pizza, ancient ruins, and vibrant street life set the stage. Optional experiences like visiting the Archaeological Museum or joining a food tour can deepen your first impressions before you meet your fellow travelers. The following day takes you through the ruins of Pompeii, where ancient streets, homes, and baths frozen in time reveal what life was like before the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. By evening, you’ll settle into your home base for the week: a converted 17th-century monastery in the hills of Furore. Surrounded by lemon groves, vineyards, and sweeping sea views, it’s the perfect spot to experience authentic Italian hospitality, complete with home-cooked meals and cooking demonstrations.
The Amalfi Coast is best explored on foot, and your days here highlight its legendary trails. Hike the Valle delle Ferriere, where waterfalls and quiet forests offer a peaceful counterbalance to the bustle of Amalfi below. Follow pathways to Ravello, perched high above the coastline, or take on the world-famous Path of the Gods, where each turn rewards you with stunning cliffside views before arriving in Positano. For those who prefer a more relaxed pace, you’ll always have the option to skip a hike and enjoy the coast at your leisure. Optional excursions include a day trip to Capri, where dramatic sea cliffs and chic village squares await.
Throughout the week, local life takes center stage. You’ll taste traditional dishes during cooking lessons, learn about the region’s agriturismo traditions, and stroll historic towns with plenty of time to sip limoncello or people-watch in sunny piazzas. For those who crave a final challenge, the hike up Mt. Tre Calli offers sweeping views of the Mediterranean before returning to Furore for a farewell dinner.
This tour combines comfort, cultural immersion, and active discovery. With your luggage unpacked just once, you can truly settle into the rhythm of the Amalfi Coast—living like a local, savoring every view, and uncovering the timeless charm of this unforgettable corner of Italy.
